Longitude’s Scope of Work
The in-place analysis of the unit included an analysis using MOSES software, for the calculation of the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic particular and for the calculation of motions,
an initial trim, stability and longitudinal strength assessment analysis using GHS, and BV Hull Global Strength and Fatigue findings resolutions using FEMAP software.
Longitude also produce the design and Installation of the Mooring Spread, inclusive of the mooring analysis, anchor pile drivability analysis, fatigue analysis of moorings, pile and chain installation procedures, mooring hookup, mooring monitoring and inspection procedures, soils investigation technical specifications, mooring chain and connectors technical specifications, Chain stopper and sheaves technical specifications.
Local strength and fatigue analyses were conducted on multiple main deck structures. The scope of work included topside production module strength and fatigue analysis, flare tower and foundation strength and fatigue analysis, structural design and analysis of chain stopper.
Longitude also liaised with class to reply and resolve comments, in order to ensure technical requirements of the scope are met and required class approvals are obtained before first oil.
