Nicolas is Managing Director of Longitude USA with responsibility of all aspects of the business in the region. He provides marine engineering consultancy and design services to the energy and maritime market. He works for developers, contractors, shipowner and shipyard. He principally focuses on owner engineer roles as well as major conversions and offshore operations involving marine and naval architecture. His experience with a large spectrum of developers and contractors provides him with an extensive blend of multidiscipline project management skills.
As a naval architect, he has a strong expertise in marine design engineering and especially in floater asset integrity such as hull conversion and refurbishment. His deep technical understanding of floater conversion allows him to optimize marine engineering studies from concept to detail design and provide his client with an optimized project DEVEX, CAPEX and OPEX strategy. Nicolas has been involved in some of the most complex FPSO conversion and life extension project and is recognized by its peer for his expertise.
Since he joined Longitude, Nicolas played a key role in developing renewable marine engineering services in Asia Pacific and now America. Relying on European expertise and strong regional technical skills, he transferred knowledge within regions and became a trusted partner for regional renewable projects. Nicolas was involved in several offshore wind projects as owner engineer but also as consultant from concept to basic design.
