David is a chartered engineer and UK registered (ROGEP) ground engineering adviser with 25 years’ experience in all stages of a projects life-cycle; from concept, design (FEED), to operations and final decommissioning, in oil & gas and energy sectors. David’s focus has been principally on Feasibility and FEED design activities such as desk study, geohazard assessments, specification of ground investigations, interpretative reporting and geotechnical analysis and design. David has extensive offshore geotechnics experience in the oil and gas sector supporting rig movements, pipeline and cable burial assessments, monopile design and the full gambit of foundation analysis of on and offshore sector.

At Longitude David has become an integral part of the team working with colleagues from all areas of the LOC Group to provide input into a wide range of projects.   These have included pipe/soil interaction studies and burial design to provide clients with the full range of cable stability analyses. Leg/mat penetration assessments, SSA input and rig selection services for the movement MOPUs for the oil and gas industry.
