Longitude was tasked with writing the Safety Case Report for two former seagoing mine hunting vessels that have been repurposed to provide cadet sea training.

Longitude organised, planned, facilitated and recorded a HAZID session for each platform. The HAZID addressed both newly identified and existing legacy platform hazards relating to the ships and their current training role. LOC managed the stakeholder group of Platform Duty Holders, Operations and Training Authorities and Maintenance Authorities to ensure that the HAZID was inclusive of all parties. Upon completion of the HAZIDs, Safety Case Reports were produced to reflect the current state of the vessels, and their safety management regime. The HAZID activities and Safety Case Reports were carried out in accordance with suitable standards as required.

Longitude personnel are Suitably Qualified and Experienced to carry out all Safety Management work. In addition to the listed Case Study, Longitude has carried out a wide range of similar Safety Case activities for projects such as: davit installations, daughter boat launch and recovery, ship mooring systems, high speed small craft.
